Playing outside again

From Linnea: I still can’t get anyone to throw this ball for me (they say I need to take it easy), but it is sure nice to be outside.

Yay to being outside! Your pawrents will toss the ball for you as soon as you’re all healed.

    You’re a beauty.

Hi Linnea – welcome to you and your family. I am a 10 year old right rear amp. My surgery was 9 months ago. I did undergo 6 rounds of chemo, as the vet recommended it. I tolerated it very well – only an “ookie” stomach once in a while.

Like you, I bounced back from the surgery pretty well – of course they caught the cancer very early. But everyone’s warnings are valid – don’t over do it. This is the time when you “milk it.” I mean act like you are suffering so you get “home cooked” meals, extra treats and of course – more hugs and kisses. I still can bat my big brown eyes at my pawrents and get what I want – but I did that even with 4 legs 🙂 Ssshhhh don’t tell them.

I live in a 2 story house so stairs are a must. Once my pawrents started letting me do things after the suctures were removed, I did everything I did with 4 legs. It just took a couple tries and now – no worries.

    Golden hugs to you,

Oh there’s nothing like getting back into the routine. Don’t worry, at the rate you’re going, you’ll be the ball dog again real soon!
